Halid Bešlić in the Škoda Superb

Sarajevo,  09/12/08
Bosnian singer Halid Bešlić sings a song about the possibility of miracles. And a miracle did happen. One of the best vehicles in the Škoda product line, the new Škoda Superb, will from today be associated with one of the most notable music artists in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond.

This partnership between Halid Bešlić and ASA Auto, the exclusive importer and distributor of Škoda vehicles within the Bosnian market, was announced today at a press conference held at the ASA Prevent Group premises.

Halid Bešlić said that he saw the ASA Prevent Group as his own company, and added that that the “success of the Company is in fact our own success as well”. „Our friendship with Halid Bešlić has gone on for many years now, and I can safely say that it is a friendship between two of Bosnia’s super-brands. The business world recognises the ASA Group as a super-brand, while Halid is one of the most popular singers of our time, with seventeen published albums in his 30-year career in music. And that certainly is one of the reasons why we have decided to establish a partnership between Halid Bešlić and Škoda. By connecting super singer Bešlić and the Škoda Superb, we have created the SuperBešlić brand”, said Nihad Imamović, the General Manager of ASA Holding after having signed a cooperation contract with the Bosnian music star.

The Škoda Superb justifies its powerful name and market presence with its admirable features, such as its sports-car-like dynamic design, elegance, high level of comfort with guaranteed safety, as well as the fact that 126,000 vehicles in this model have been sold since 2001. With a 43% share in all the purchases of new passenger vehicles in Bosnia, and a 24% market share, Škoda is an absolute leader on the vehicle market. As its exclusive importer, ASA Auto, also the exclusive partner of Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Porsche in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has continuously presented its clients a with a steady offer of added value products, and has only in 2008 increased Škoda’s market share by 2,5% with respect to the previous year.
